Song by Josh Korody Lyrics by Josh Korody I can’t believe your selfish ways You are really something No one listens cause you Don’t Listen This is a breaking point for you And for me And for everyone I tried to avoid you But you keep coming back Whats it gunna take? What’s it gunna take? To get over yourself To get over yourself You decided That everyone is wrong But you You’ve Decided You can’t accept That you peaked at 24 So you take it out on anyone you know You decided that everyone is wrong And before you know it Everyone is gone Just accept it And grow up For all of us You’ve Decided

Disposable 04:22
Song by Josh Korody Lyrics by Josh Korody Chorus lyrics by Josh Korody and Robyn Phillips You came into my life For a brief second It was love from the start But we knew in the back of my mind It wasn’t gunna last And I was there for you In so many ways Catering to every move But as I got attached I wanted to see it through And I don’t want you anymore Now that you opened up this door And I don’t need you anymore Frankly, you’re really such a bore And you told me you loved me countless times But I fallen off this line I’d swear I’d separate myself But it never fails, it never fails And I don’t want you anymore Now that you opened up this door And I don’t need you anymore Frankly, you’re really such a bore And I don’t want you anymore (She said) And I don’t need you anymore (He said) Quite frankly, you’re really such a bore You’re really such a bore
3.
Song by Josh Korody Lyrics by Josh Korody Well I don’t feel anything that’s ok Everything you throw on me You toss it in an ashtray Go sort out yourself and get back to me But you’re probably too busy being a beach flea Once again once again Its enough its enough Once again once again Its enough its enough Have you ever suffered? Have you ever suffered? No not like that The problem is they’ve never been told no Its almost like their permanently on blow And as they work themselves into a corner They should look at their old life An be a mourner
4.
Song by James Kearns Lyrics by James Kearns Tell me (Tell me) Your darkest secret And I swear (I swear) I will keep it Whisper You’re deepest desire And I promise I will make it Show me (Show me) You’re hidden heartache And I will pledge To fine a cure (To find a cure) Disclose you’re buried sorrow And I vow To make you pure You’re eyes they remind me Of Heavens above I think I might be Ready for love The taste of your lips is the ultimate drug I think finally Ready for love Ready for love You’re eyes they remind me Of Heavens above I think I’m ready I’m ready for love You’re eyes they remind me Of Heavens above I think I’m ready I’m ready for love The taste of your lips is the ultimate drug I think finally Ready for Love Ready for love I’m ready for love Ready for love

And I never gave you everything you’ve ever wanted But I never asked for much Now that you're in the spotlight It seems like there’s A lot of pressure The charm you possess Is ever so precious The sound of your laughter Is oh so infectious The sound of the voices The constant attention It's a lot of pressure It's a lot of pressure And you act Like I never gave you Like I never gave you Like I never gave you nothing Like I never gave you Like I never gave you Like I never gave you nothing Some things I’ll never understand Can I ask we not be civil men And I promise this wasn’t the plan Maybe you just thought nothing of it Maybe you just too above it Maybe you were just too above it And you act, and you act Like I never gave you Like I never gave you Like I never gave you nothing Like I never gave you Like I never gave you Like I never gave you nothing Like I never gave you Like I never gave you Ya, they doing the same As you doing to me They did the same As you doing to me They did the same As you doing to me

Honestly 04:22
Song by Josh Korody Lyrics by Josh Korody I said to you This is how its gunna go You said to me I already left you long ago And I tried the upper hand How silly I am And what is the point of, having such control? When you have, no love anymore? And I still think of you, do you still think of me? Oh Honestly? And now that its over, now that its true I can’t stop, thinking of you It makes me sick I want to scream Every single night I try to dream of you And I hope that you do too And I still think of you, do you still think of me? Oh Honestly? I still think of you, do you still think of me? Oh Honestly? And I still think of you, do you still think of me? Oh Honestly?
9.
Song by Braeden Craig, James Kearns, Josh Korody, Robyn Phillips, Julia Wittmann Lyrics by James Kearns I’m in too deep Never meant to make it a habit But I was weak Now I’m a heart attack waiting to happen Help me please My head feels like its collapsing At the very least You could offer me a distraction On the count of three Who are these people, in my house? Pretending to be my family? Why do they keep touching my stuff? Who invited them anyway? Is this even my house at all? Is this even my body? I don’t recognize my own face? Was I, was I always this ugly? Was I always this ugly? Was I always this ugly?

about

Breeze’s new album, “Sour Grapes,” delves into the complexities of human relationships and builds upon the 90s-inspired sound of their 2021 album "Only Up," which received critical acclaim from the likes of CBC Music, Stereogum, and NPR. Originally a solo project led by Toronto-based producer Josh Korody (known for his work with Tess Parks, Dilly Dally, Fucked Up, Weaves, Dirty Nil, Beliefs), Breeze has since evolved into a full band following their debut performance for KEXP Live At Home Session. The new wave - britpop inspired album was recorded by Korody at his Candle Recording studio, at Hotel 2 Tango with Shae Brossard, and mastered by Mark Gardiner of RIDE. “Sour Grapes” is an exciting direction for this anticipated full-length and full band follow up.
